You assist Quesera Account Specialist by problem-solving key technical issues for our customers.
You liaise with the R&D engineering team to stay on top of industry trends and devise enhancements to Google Cloud products.
As a Customer Engagement Specialist, you will become an advisor and expert advocate for our platform to our customers and prospects. You will help them get the most value out of a platform. To do this, you will know the Google Cloud Platform product inside-out and provide high expert support to Cloud Architects on the most complex and innovative projects, using both technical and business skill to lead the project forward as efficiently as possible. You’ll accompany our customers in discovering the technology/solution and consulting the best way to implement it. You’ll optimize for results when in production, always with the customers success as priority.

Responsibilities
Work with the Quesera Account Specialist to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer technical objections, and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers.
Work directly with customers to demonstrate and prototype Google Cloud product integrations in customer/partner environments. Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution using best practices on Google Cloud.
Ability to learn, understand and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies and solutions in the cloud technology space. Ability to deliver technical presentations demonstrating excellent presentation skills.
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in a technical sales engineering role in a cloud computing environment or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role.
Experience in advanced security including authentication protocols, identity and access management systems, key management systems, encryption, securing mobile operating systems, securing cloud architectures, incident management, network and end-point security, etc.
Preferred qualifications
Degree in computer science or other technical field.
Experience in architecting and developing software or infrastructure for distributed systems.
Experience with Industry security compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC2). Knowledge of main traditional security protocols (e.g., OAuth, OpenID, HTTPS-TLS-SSL, PKI), identity and access management solutions, and encryption solutions.
